The lovely thing about nettles is that although it is very painful, it is completely harmless to the health and the body recovers quickly from it. The bad thing about it, which I am sure you have found, is that the second time you use them, the pain is less and if you use them often there is a point they become painless. I try to use them less than once a year to ensure I can get the most pain from them.
